I participated in the first After Dark in Austin and it was the most awesome experience....trust me it's one not to miss! Second, we are giving away our newest photoDUDS Photographer's Toolkit, Debonair. I have gotten so much mileage from this set. I can't tell you the number of cards and galleries I've sold containing elements from this set. Next up we have 3 frame and corner sample sets from GNP Frame. We carry all their frames in our studio and they are by far our most popular sellers. No doubt, yur customers will love 'em. Afterdark would be amazing... I experienced a tiny taste of that at SYNC the first year and I knew that Dave Junion was onto something. Great for him to be continuing the success and sharing the knowledge. Would love to participate and learn.
As for the frame corner samples, I don't really need them, I have a business relationship with a custom frame shop in our tiny little town...PR ya know.
The umbrella is so darned cute, I love it, and I was soooooo hoping to win one on Monday. I was diggin' them last year. :) Could so see that being used for seniors and kids of all ages.

ReplyDeleteHello photoduds!! I just renovated my studio, and am finally ready to offer a frame selection to my clients!! I could REALLY use the GNP Frame corners!! They have a wonderful selection, and I would love to add their product line. Since I just spent all of my money on the renovation, some help would be MUCH appreciated!! You're site rocks!!

I posted the link on my FB photo page and im really interested in the After Dark Education Workshop in Portland. I've been wanting to attend this workshop for a while now and i know they've had them in austin, miami, new orleans, etc...but Portland is the one i want to attend because i love that city, love the feel, and i know i'd be able to create some amazing images out there. Plus, a scholarship would help offset the cost of a plane ticket out there and as a student, that would be totally awesome! Take Care and thanks again!

ReplyDeleteI love all of Photo Duds products... and I do not have Debonair... I have the other two and LOVE LOVE them.. best product I purchased at After Dark Austin. So I would love to add it to my collection.
After Dark is amazing.. I've already paid for Portland.. but people YOU need to go.. It's a SURREAL experience.....
The umbrellas are totally cute.. I need some of those.. and they would make awesome props...
And I haven't started offering framing because I'm just not sure who to use and how to offer them... but winning with GNP would give me that extra boost to start offering asap!

ReplyDeleteAfter Beth recommended GNP at WPPI I tried to find them at the trade show to check them out. But by the time I made my way to that end of the trade show I had to leave to catch my flight. If I win this sample set I'll finally get the ball rolling with being able to offer my clients framing.

I've been wanting to start offering framing to my clients via GNP frames. I love that they have teamed up with my printer, whcc, to offer a one stop shop service.
