photoDUDS Social Studies Project

I had to share my daughter's creative use of photoDUDS. I have gotten such a kick out of this. . . . and it's another market I haven't tapped into yet! She has been working diligently on her Social Studies fair project all week. She decided to "dress-up" her project and decorate her display area with images relevant to the project's theme. She grabbed up her photoDUDS and went to work. Here are some of the results. So, if you're in need of that little something extra for your child's social studies and science projects, look no further. . . . photoDUDS to the rescue!!

Share the DUD love!

Well, I am frantically preparing for WPPI this week. I have so many things to finish between my program and the DUDS booth that i feel like my head is going to explode. We have a couple off exciting new products that we will be debuting at WPPI this year so be sure to stop by booth 1608 and check it out.

People are always sending me their DUDS creations. (Which I so enjoy, by the way. It is so fun to get ideas from others and see how they use the various elements in their design.) So, I thought I would pass it along and share with you so you could get all sorts of inspiration as well. This is a graduation announcement sent to me by Jeff and Mary Nordby of Alaska. They picked up the products this year at SPA and Mary says,

"I am just loving the products I purchased from you at Spa! I am such a photo geek, I just look at all the embellishments and brushes and almost cry! I am so excited to put together a layout and "play"-- What fun!!"

This is a 5x7 press product card Mary designed for a client of theirs. I have attached the front, the inside and the back of the card.
Thanks for sharing Mary and Jeff. They look awesome!!

Pretty in Pink

Hey, I just wanted to share this DUDS creation I created it for the PPWV competition which was held this past weekend in Morgantown, WV. It is a gallery wrap which won first place in the Creative/Open category. I based the entry on our line of Storyboards which we sell in the studio to our seniors. We have been selling lots of composite galleries such as this all year using the DUDS, and when ordering seniors can upgrade the finished product to a gallery wrap for an extra charge. The gallery wrap upgrade has been very successful this year in our studio. (I'd also like to give a shout out to the senior featured in this image, Lauren Snyder. She and my daughter have been friends for years. "Lauren, you are beautiful both inside and out!"
